Fin Fetchers Guides

My name is Brian Neilsen is Owner/Outfitter of Fin Fetchers Outfitting  #5306. With 17 years of guiding under my wading belt, I am seasoned fly fishing professional.  I was born and raised in Montana, I have  been fishing the Missouri since I was 3-years-old--it’s been my backyard for over 35 years.  I started guiding in 1992 and started Fin Fetchers Outfitting in 2001, my guiding talents run the gamete: dry flies, streamers, nymphing, casting, beginner instruction, and fine tuning pros.  Pin-pointing strengths with a laugh around every corner, I hope you'll find my company comfortable, fun, and educational. Ask me about the 10 years I guided on the Smith River, the South Fork of the Flathead or my new role as the Vice President  for the Missouri River Fly Fishers. I also work as an outside sales rep. selling items such as Powerbait, Rapala's, firearms plus numerous other items to keep himself gainfully employed throughout the entire year.  My wife Shannon, our daughter Margo and our bird dogs Mabel and Strider live in Great Falls, MT.

Chuck Tuchschmidt has been guiding on Montana's rivers since 1983. He made the Missouri river his home in 1984 for a variety of indisputable reasons. The Missouri River's thirty miles of spring creek-like water with a tremendous population of big, wild rainbow and brown trout offers challenging dry fly fishing for the most experienced and discriminating anglers as well as highly rewarding opportunities for novices just getting started in fly fishing.  All of this rolled into one of the longest productive seasons in Montana that goes from May until the first part of November.
