Sun River

The Sun River flows out of the beautiful Rocky Mountain Front, spilling out of the Bob Marshall Wilderness into Gibson Reservoir and out the other side into a the stunning Sun River canyon.  The Sun eventually winds its way onto the plains where it eventually confluences with the  Missouri in Great Falls, Montana.   Browns and Rainbows are the target on the Sun.  This river is best fished with large streamers and buggers in the spring and early Summer.  Hoppers, ants and beetles become the preference throughout the rest of the season.  The Sun offers a day of solitude and relaxed wade fishing.  Fin Fetchers Outfitting offers rare private access to this beautiful river.
